Last week, I shared three tips for men with dry skin. This week, I'll share three tips for men with oily skin.
Oily skin can feel, well, gross – especially after a long day. Not to mention, oily skin is more prone to acne and breakouts. But, how do you reduce oil without reducing moisture? These tips can help.
Exfoliate
Look for a cleanser that has exfoliating properties. This can help cut grease and unclog pores without stripping cells of natural moisture. African black soap is safe for all skin types, but it's a particularly great option for oily skin.
Use a toner
After you wash your face, apply a toner to get rid of any residual oil that's lingering around. Toners are great for neutralizing skin and the best ones also include some type of nourishing property so the skin doesn't get too dried out.
Opt for oil-free moisturizer
If you have oily skin, thick and heavy moisturizers are not your friend. Go for something lightweight and oil-free. Finding a matte moisturizer is an added bonus.
