When you're ready for a temporary switch-up, giving your hair a bit of a curl is always a fun, fresh option. Here's how to do it without using any heat or chemicals.
Let your hair air dry
After you get out the shower, don't bother with taking a towel to your hair or using a blow dryer. Letting it dry naturally will help lock in moisture and preserve texture.
Use a leave-in conditioner
A leave-in is best when you want a casual, I-woke-up-like-this style that's still tame and appropriate for stepping out.
Add a little mousse
Mousse is a good idea for giving the style a lightweight hold without making your hair too hard or crispy.
Sponge it
Using a sponge tool to solidify the twist or curl gives the look some definition. Just be sure to sponge all of it in the same direction (either clockwise or counter clockwise) and don't press too hard.
